Bank Street HeroClix for August 2012
Thursday, August 2nd – Set Loyalty. Build a 500 point team. All pieces and game elements used must be from the same set. Sets that contain a set release, fast forces pack/starter, and gravity feed are considered the same set.
Saturday, August 3rd – 600 Point Constructed Tournament. Build a 600 Point themed team based around a generic keyword. Prizes include the LE #101 Mr. Fantastic for both the champion and fellowship winners.
Thursday, August 9th – Quick Change. Build a 400 point team with at least one Alter Ego Character, and you must change Alter Egos at least once in your match.
Saturday, August 11th – Quarriors Tournament. Time for the little guys to shine! Quarriors returns to the Shoppe with another tourney of tiny proportions! We’ll be playing with all expansions to date, but with a twist! Only creatures of cost 4 or less will be used. As usual, we will also be playing with the advanced culling and buying rules.
Saturday, August 11th – 400 Point Modern Age Tournament. Build a 400 point team based around the modern age construction rules. Prizes for this event include the LE #103 The Thing for both the champion and fellowship winners.
Thursday, August 16th – DC Only. Build a 500 point team using only DC HeroClix figures and game elements.
Saturday, August 18th - Infinity Gauntlet Sealed Tournament 8. Players purchase 2 boosters of Chaos War and build a 300 point team out of the pieces they receive! Prizes for this event TBA.
Note: You need to have earned at least 12 points in Bank St. Infinity Gauntlet tournaments to qualify for participation.
Thursday, August 23rd – Shooting Gallery. Build a 500 point team where every member has a range value of at least six, or a power that grants them a range value of at least six.
Saturday August 25th - 500 Point Villain Tournament. Build a 500 point team using only villain characters. Prizes for this event include LE #104 Spider-Man for both the champion and fellowship winners.
Thursday, August 30th – Chaos Rules! Build a 500 point team. Each character must have at least 2 KO slots on their dial. When damage is applied and a character reaches his/her KO slots, any remaining damage is applied. So if a character gets back onto it’s starting dial, it’s still in the game!
