Thursday, May 2nd – Armour Up! Build a 600 point team where everyone has the Armor Keyword.

Saturday, May 4th – Free Comic Book Day! No Clix today, but come in for free comics and great sales!

Thursday, May 9th – Age of Ultron. Build two 600 point teams. One team will be an Avengers themed team, and the other will be a Robot themed team and must feature a version of Ultron. Only one player on the map may play their Ultron team, which will be decided by the initiative roll.

Saturday, May 11th – 900 Point Multi-Player! Build a 900 point team of whatever you want for a huge multi-player battle!

Thursday, May16th – Teen Titans Brick Night! Bring or purchase your brick of the newest DC HeroClix Expansion, Teen Titans, for a huge opening and trading session!

Saturday, May 18th – Teen Titans Sealed Tournament. Players purchase two boosters of the newest DC HeroClix expansion Teen Titans and build a 300 point team out of the figures that they receive. Prizes TBA.

Thursday, May 23rd – Duel. Build a 500 point team with only 4 characters. No Feats. One character on your team will be played at a time.

Saturday, May 25th – No Mans Land Month 6 Event. A 300 point, Sealed event utilizing two (2) DC HeroClix: Teen Titans Boosters per player.

NOTE: You must have accumulated at least 12 points in the previous 5 No Man’s Land tournaments in order to qualify for this tournament.

Prior to the event, players will “declare their allegiance” to one of the six No Man’s Land “Gangs (GCPD, Batman, Joker, Two–‐Face, Killer Croc, or Black Mask). They are now fighting for turf on behalf of their chosen gang. Upon completion of the event, the Gang with the most Event Points has now conquered Blackgate Prison for their Gang. “Tag” the corresponding location on the included laminated Gotham City map with the appropriate Gang Token.

Prizes include The Batcave Heroclix Resource Grand Prize for the Champion; The Joker and Harley Quinn LE for the Champion, 2nd Place, and Fellowship winners; The Penguin LE for the top three point-getters for the Gang with the most territory on the map; and the Batman’s Cowl and Handcuffs Special Objects as participation prizes.

Saturday, February 9th - Amazing Spider-Man Sealed Tournament. Players purchase 2 boosters from the newest Marvel HeroClix expansion, Amazing Spider-Man, and build a 300 point team with with the pieces they receive! Prizes TBA.

Thursday, February 14th - Boo. Build a 600 point themed team comprised entirely of characters with the Monster keyword.

Saturday, February 16th -500 Point Floor Tournament. Build a 500 point team with at least 250 points coming from the newest Marvel HeroClix expansion, Amazing Spider-Man. Prizes TBA.

Thursday, February 21st – That guy’s just here to increase sales. Build a 400 point team which must include a Deadpool or Wolverine figure.

Thursday, January 3rd - No Theme Whatsoever. Build a 500 point team that is NOT a themed team. Characters can share some keywords, but you must not meet the requirements for a themed team.

Saturday, January 5th – 500 Point Villains Tournament. Build a 500 point team using only “villain” characters. Prizes for this event include the Streets of Gotham LE #101 Hugo Strange for both the Champion and Fellowship winner.

Thursday, January 10th – They Don’t Make Very Many of These. Build a 600 point team comprised entirely of the rare pieces in your collection. Super Rares, chase figures, old school Uniques, L.E.’s, mail-away figs, etc. No common, uncommon, or rare pieces allowed.

Saturday, January 12th – 600 Point DC Only Tournament. Build a 600 point team using only DC HeroClix pieces and game elements. Prizes for this event include the Streets of Gotham LE #102 Thomas Wayne for both the Champion and Fellowship winner.

Thursday, January 17th – Fugly. Build a 400 point  team with sculpts that you hate!

Thursday, January 24th - Spider-Clone, Spider-Clone: Build a 400 point team. Build a team using two versions of each character. One version that has a character card, and one that doesn’t. Example: Mutant Mayhem Deadpool and Web of Spider-Man Deadpool.

Saturday, January 26th – 400 Point Team-Up Tournament. Build a 400 point team. Your team must be either all DC, all Indy, or all Marvel. Team-up with a friend who is using a different universe from you and fight. Here’s how a Team-Up Tournament works:

• Two-player Team-Up events are multi-player games of HeroClix, with four total players per game.
• Each Team-Up consists of two players. Players may choose their partners in advance. Any players without partners will be randomly assigned to a partner on the day of the event. Any players without partners should build two teams from different universes to be on the safe side.
• Alternate seating, so that team members are not sitting next to each other and are not taking consecutive turns.
• The listed point value is the number of points that each player on the team may bring.
• During the game, all characters in a Team-Up are considered to be friendly characters to all other characters in the Team-Up; they are not, however, part of the same force.
• In addition to all normal victory conditions, if either partner in a Team-Up has no characters remaining on the map, the game ends.
• The victory points scored by both Partners during the game are totaled at the end of the game.

Up for grabs are a selection of LE Prizes.

Thursday, January 31st – Chaos Rules! Build a 500 point team. Each character must have at least 2 KO slots on their dial. When damage is applied and a character reaches his/her KO slots, any remaining damage is applied. So if a character gets back onto it’s starting dial, it’s still in the game!

Thursday, December 6th – Generic. Build a 500 Point team where every character has the same generic keyword. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they are a themed team, just that they all share the keyword.

Saturday, December 8th -400 Point Floor Tournament. Build a 400 point team with at least 200 points coming from the newest DC HeroClix expansion, Batman. Prizes for this event include the LE #101 Renegade for both the champion and fellowship winner.

Thursday, December 13th – Civic Pride. Build a 500 point team using characters who are are from the same city.

Saturday, December 15th -400 Point Tournament. Build a 400 point team. Prizes for this event include the LE #102 Matches Malone for both the champion and fellowship winner.

Thursday, December 20th – Batman and more Batman. Build a 500 point team based around Batman or Batman villains.

Saturday, December 22nd – 500 Point Modern Age Tournament. Build a 500 point team using Modern Age construction rules. Prizes for this event include the LE #104 Azrael for both the champion and fellowship winner.

Thursday, December 27th – Big’uns. Build a 600 point team with at least one character that has a point cost between 250 and 300 points.

Saturday, December 29th – 400 Point Floor Tournament. Build a 400 point team with at least 200 points coming from the newest DC HeroClix expansion, Streets of Gotham. Prizes for this event include the LE #103 Batman and Nightwing for both the champion and fellowship winner.

Saturday, November 10th - Build a 600 point team using characters whose point values are multiples of 25. No character may be more than 250 points.

Thursday, November 15th – Batman Brick Night. Bring your brick of the newest DC HeroClix expansion, Batman, to the Shoppe for a massive opening and trading session!

Saturday, November 17th – Batman Sealed Tournament. Players purchase 2 boosters from the DC HeroClix expansion, Batman and build a 300 point team with with the pieces they receive! Prizes include the LE The Batman of Zur-En-Arrh, as well as participation prizes.

Thursday, November 22nd - Getting the old team back together. Build your best 400 point team consisting of characters that were part of a now defunct team, i.e. Force Works, Cable’s X-Force.

Saturday, October 6th - Build a 1000 point team that features no colossal figures for a multiplayer match-up!

Thursday, October 11th – Time Travel. Build a 400 Point team where all characters have the Past or Future keywords.

Saturday, October 13th - Up Close and Personal. Build a 500 Point team where all characters have a range value of O.

Thursday, October 18th – Duel. Build a 500 point team with only 4 characters. No Feats. One character on your team will be played at a time.

Saturday, October 20th - Build a 900 point team themed team for a multiplayer match-up! No special objects allowed.

Thursday, October 25th – Bring a Knife to a Gunfight: Build a 500 point team with characters who are holding a weapon in their hand. Power Rings count as weapons.

Saturday, October 27th - 2000 Point match. No character on your force may be less than 100 points without permission from the judge. No more than 3 players to a map.

Thursday, September 13th – Marvel or DC. Build a 400 point team comprised of entirely DC HeroClix pieces and game elements or entirely Marvel HeroClix pieces and game elements.

Saturday, September 15th – 400 Point DC Only Tournament. Build a 400 point team comprised of entirely DC HeroClix pieces and game elements. Prizes for this event include the LE Mr. Fantastic for both the Campion and Fellowship winners.

Saturday, September 29th – 300 Point Constructed Tournament. Build a 300 point team. Prizes for this event include the LE In-Betweener for both the champion and fellowship winners.

Thursday, August 2nd – Set Loyalty. Build a 500 point team.  All pieces and game elements used must be from the same set. Sets that contain a set release, fast forces pack/starter, and gravity feed are considered the same set.

Saturday, August 3rd – 600 Point Constructed Tournament. Build a 600 Point themed team based around a generic keyword. Prizes include the LE #101 Mr. Fantastic for both the champion and fellowship winners.

Thursday, August 9th – Quick Change. Build a 400 point team with at least one Alter Ego Character, and you must change Alter Egos at least once in your match.

Saturday, August 11th – Quarriors Tournament. Time for the little guys to shine! Quarriors returns to the Shoppe with another tourney of tiny proportions! We’ll be playing with all expansions to date, but with a twist! Only creatures of cost 4 or less will be used. As usual, we will also be playing with the advanced culling and buying rules.

Thursday, August 23rd – Shooting Gallery. Build a 500 point team where every member has a range value of at least six, or a power that grants them a range value of at least six.

Saturday, July 21st – Infinity Gauntlet Sealed Tournament 7. Players purchase 2 boosters of Chaos War and build a 300 point team out of the pieces they receive! Prizes for this event include the Grandmaster Limited Edition Piece for the Champion, 2nd Place, and fellowship winners, and a Mind Gem for everyone who participates.

Note: This is the last opportunity to qualify for next month’s Infinity Gauntlet final. You need to have earned at least 12 points in Bank St. Infinity Gauntlet tournaments to qualify for participation in month 8. Ask Ryan if you are unsure of how many points you have earned.

Thursday, July 26th -Ladies Night. Build a 400 point team using only female characters.

Thursday, June 7th – The Dark Knight Rises. The DC Dark Knight Rises set releases the day before, so build a 400 point team of either batman related characters, or “street level” characters (Punisher, Daredevil, etc.)

Thursday, June 14th – Escort Mission. Build a 500 Point team with every character above 50 points. You may also add one 25-50 point character to your force for free, who will not be included in your theme team total (if applicable). This is the character that you have to “protect.” You may move and attack with this character as normal, and his actions are a part of your turn’s action total. But if this character is KO’d, you are eliminated from the game.

Saturday June 16th – Quarriors! Quorlds Qualifier Tournament. This tournament starts at 10:30 am. Go to our events page at www.wizkidseventsystem.com (thecomicbookshoppe) for more information.

Saturday June 16th – Brave and the Bold/ Marvel Team-Up Tournament. Build a 300 point team using only 2 characters. Teams must be either all DC HeroClix Characters and include Batman, or all Marvel HeroClix Characters and Include Spider-Man. Prizes for this event include a LE #101 Iron Man for both the Champion and Fellowship winners.

NOTE! This tournament’s start time will be delayed until 2pm due to the Quarriors tournament earlier that morning.

Thursday, June 21st – Opponent’s Choice. Build 2 500 point teams. After rolling for initiative (minus theme team bonuses) The player with initiative will choose which team the player to his right plays with. That player then chooses the team for the player to his right, and so on until the player with initiative has his team chosen for him.

Saturday, June 23rd – Infinity Gauntlet Sealed Tournament 6. Players purchase 2 boosters of Galactic Guardians and build a 400 point team out of the pieces they receive! Prizes for this event TBA.

Thursday, June 28th - What About the Big Guy? Build a 400 point team with no character over 100 points, and bring one figure whose point cost is in the range of 250 to 300 points. After players are assigned to a map, there is a roll-off at the beginning to find out whose high cost figure is placed in the middle. After that, regular game is played but if one of your characters is adjacent to the high cost figure you receive a free action to roll a die. On a 4-5-6 means you can give him one action, on a 1-2-3 the player to your left can give him an action. No one can target or attack the high cost figure.
